Wenatchee Valley's Super Oval was founded in 1970 as East Wenatchee Speedway. The track sits on the plateau over looking the beautiful Wenatchee Valley, known as "Apple Capital of the World" with the snowy Cascade Mountains in the backdrop. The 1/4 mile banked oval is known as one of the fastest and nicest short tracks on the west coast. Northwest racing legend Garrett Evans along with his parents, Joan and Leonard took over operations of the facility in 1999. The family made investments of over one million dollars to the facility to bring it to where it is today. WVSO is one of the premier short tracks in the Northwest with family affordable short track racing entertainment from April-September every summer. The track host multiple events from Super Late Models, Monster Trucks, Sprint Cars, Semi-Truck and more throughout their yearly schedules. Race season runs from April-Sept.
